Texas Cancer Information collects and provides information on Texas physicians who have a primary interest in the diagnosis, treatment or continuing care of cancer patients. Doctors included in this database were selected to be included if they were listed as an oncology specialist by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, by the National Cancer Institute's Directory of Physicians, and/or by a Texas hospital. Physicians who are not oncologists but are involved in some aspect of cancer care are also included. Data on each doctor is sent to him/her for review and update via the annual Physician Professional Information Update survey.
Information on individual physicians includes contact information, practice information (medical specialties, board certifications, etc.) and education, areas of specialization in cancer care and areas of interest, additional cancer prevention and screening services (New!), hospital and cancer treatment center affiliations, and professional affiliations.
Select region, medical specialty, and area of specialization (cancer site) and click on the Submit Query button. Search results will appear in alphabetical order by city.
